Gliderol Self Storage Solutions was struggling to shake off the market perception that it only made storage doors rather than being known for its true capability of providing a turnkey solution to create self storage facilities for operators.
Carbonsix had successfully completed an exercise with its sister company, Gliderol Garage Doors, to reposition its offer and the self storage business wanted the same for itself!
Carbonsix created a dedicated sub-brand to identify the extended capability – “MAX-plan turnkey solutions” and, to ensure it captured attention, created a 3D character “Max” to act as mascot and icon.
The new approach was deployed across website, literature and trade advertising with the desired effect of changing perceptions.
