Suitably profound and humble for a first blog post from Carbonsix. We’re not entirely sure what we’ll post here or how often. There is no Machiavellian plan, just a notion that some sort of repository for stuff seems like an idea.
Oh, the image is of a stormy looking Dingle Peninsula seen from the Ring of Kerry. At the end of the Dingle Peninsula are the Blasket Islands that are now uninhabited but, in the 1920’s and 30’s, were a literary phenomenon – 40 published books have come from the Great Blasket, whose population never rose above 176.
